CARPET TUNNEL SYNDROME OFTEN MISDIAGNOSED AND MISUNDERSTOOD: An Introductory Post While It's On My Mind.

Okay, so that was just one of Jay Leno's older "Headlines".

I am Katri Mattrix, the Author Dragon.  An amateur of my trade, I believe.

I write stuff.  Sometimes fan-fiction, sometimes universe-crossings or "alternate realities", and very once-in-a-blue-Soldier's March, something that attempts to be original.  I also with equal rarity draw pictures.  I've edited YTP and played Mega Man 3 for longer than all that combined, I bet you're thinking.

Wrong.  I've been wanting to, and attempting authoring for a few years, actually.  All those videos are spare-time junk, because you have too much of it on your hands when you have either a part-time job or no job at all.
What I really want to get into is publishing my work.  I don't consider it just any work.  I consider it with 'draconian' criticism, and loads of loathing.  One character in particular has given me more trouble than...ANYTHING else except for working fast food with a bunch of lazy Mexicans.  (Am I racist?  Please tell me I'm racist.  I hate all Mankind.  I want to eat you all with hot sauce and cheeze.)

But yers.  I'm a less-than-awesome part of the "furry fandom", all typos and bad story-writing included.  I'm not a god.  Nor am I "Triple Jesus", as 2 comically implied himself as one routine.  (I'd like to try his Three-Cheese Messiah Baby one day.  >:3)

I hope one day that I'll at least be able to publish something from the pit that burns, and that it would be something remotely good.
I am a lover and a killer of art.  Weird Al, Lady Gaga, J.K. Rowling, and Douglas Adams are my idols.  To a lesser degree, because Shonen Jump is called "shitty generic manga for boys":  Kubo Tite and Kishimoto Masahi.

My works, no more and no less, will stem from being furry, scaly, feathery, and IN SPACE. *Space echoes, followed by Wheatley's little yellow-eyed orbiting partner going "SPAAAAAAAACE!!!"*

-------

Expect more from me when and if I actually get my first story published, I hope to come back and plug myself back into "The Mattrix" to tell you all soon.  Thank you and good-night.
